James Cooray Smith has written Black Archives on The Massacre, The Underwater Menace, The Ultimate Foe, and The Night of the Doctor, as well as a Silver Archive on Sapphire & Steel. He has also written an Iris Wildthyme novella for Obverse, as well as contributing to many other publications, including The New Statesman and the production subtitles for the BBC Doctor Who DVD range.
Philip Purser-Hallard is an editor of the Black Archive, and has written or co-written four previous books in the range.
Alasdair Stuart is a professional enthusiast, pop culture analyst, and writer behind the award-nominated weekly newsletter, The Full Lid. He is a Hugo finalist, and co-owns the Escape Artists Podcast Network. His previous Archives include The Day of the Doctor for the Black Archive and Through the Valley of Shadows for the Gold Archive.
Matt Hills is Professor of Fandom Studies at Huddersfield University. He is the author of Triumph of a Time Lord from Tauris Press.
James Mortimer has been a Doctor Who fan since the show returned in 2005, and is the author of the Black Archive on The Sound of Drums / Last of the Time Lords.
