4. Dr Who Cushing Novelisations Books 13 to 16

‘After filming of The Six Doctors, Terrance Dicks was surprised to be approached to write another celebratory project, which would have brought Peter Cushing’s Dr Who back to the BBC’s radio waves where he had enjoyed so much success a decade earlier. Cushing had always been happy to play the role on radio and had been willing to return for several abandoned radio series, The War of the Time Lords, The Sphere of Skagra and The Key of Time, all proposed around 1979-81. There was a feeling that the fans would welcome one more radio adventure for his Doctor.’
