Lawrence Burton is a writer, artist and musician, who lives in Texas. As well as writing for Obverse and painting the cover images for the vast majority of the Faction Paradox books, he publishes his own science fiction, cartoons and travel writing here.
Andrew Hickey is a writer, musician and podcaster. His music history podcast, The History of Rock Music in 500 Songs is regularly described as one of the best music podcasts out there. He is also the author of a Silver Archive on Gurney Slade and a Black Archive on The Mind Robber.
Blair Bidmead is an author and illustrator. Weapons Grade Snake Oil was his first novel, but he has written extensively both before and since. He is also responsible for the icons on the front covers of every Black Archive.
Dale Smith is a writer and playwright from Manchester. His thoughts on the writing process – including on the writing of Spinning Jenny and The Talons of Weng-Chiang how they were delayed and spoiled by his useless editor at Obverse – can be found on his excellent blog.
Simon Bucher-Jones is best known for his work in the Doctor Who universe, but he has written for all sorts of other things too. As well as co-writing The Brakespeare Voyage, he has written several Black Archives for Obverse Books and a collection of Seaton Begg short stories. He edited the Faction Paradox collections, The Book of the Enemy and upcoming The Boulevard Volume II.
Jonathan Dennis is a writer of both fiction and non-fiction, based in California. In addition to The Brakespeare Voyage, he is the author of the Faction Hollywood novella Hyponormalisation, part of the Sextet collection of linked novellas, and Black Archives on Vengeance on Varos and Ghost Light.
